I put it on every instrument I own which took a long time! The results were awesome.

So far so good on your Stringtreat product. I've now used it on my .011 Ernie Ball acoustic coated set (Ovation 1778t), Electro Harmonix .010 electrics (50's Mexican Strat) and .010 DR Pure Blues electrics (Baja Tele). Stringtreat does a good job cleaning -- it takes off an increasingly visible amount of grime depending on whether I apply it after 30 minutes or 3 hours of playing time, so I know it's working appropriately. I doesn't affect the playing feel of my strings.
I've used the following products, and I find that Stringtreat works better than all of them:

I was most surprised and pleased to receive in the post today a bottle of StringTreat, so I thought I`d get in touch straight away to let you know what I think.
As soon as I got the package open and the seal off the bottle top I tried it on two guitars with very dull/dirty/worn strings, a strat and D28 style acoustic.Stringtreat sure worked a "treat" on them both!! I did as suggested and wet the cloth and wiped all strings back and front and all round fron bridge to nut ( like with all cleaners ).
The first thing I noticed was that Stringtreat was odourless, and very watery,which made it easy to use. Also, it wipes over the strings really easily.
After cleaning the strings on both guitars I immediately noticed that all dirt and residue was removed from the strings and there was not sticky/chemically/slippy residue left behind. Very good! I also noticed that all strings instantly looked brighter and cleaner in all respects. This was quite a success as the strings I tried this on were all very tarnished!!
However, the best bit comes with playing them! Stringtreat not only made the strings feel like new and clean, but I also noticed a very sharp thick/fat improvement in tone too!! It is a winner!! When this bottle runs out I am going to need more of this stuff....I reckon I could sell it to any guitarist I came across and/or any decent/proper music shop...!!
Fantastic stuff. A string cleaner as good as Servisol used to be but without the risk to the guitars finish that servisol had. I have tried all string cleaners and yours is the best I have found.
